Quick question. How are these encoded exactly? On our Macbook, they display non-widescreen but squeezed. Even though they're mp4's and well within the bit rate, they won't sync to our apple tv, and never seem to reconvert right. Luckily Boxee on the aTV works perfectly, but the wife doesn't get the Boxee as easily as normal interface.

I do them using Mainconcept H.264 through TMPGEnc. The resolution is set to 16:9 for the source and the output so it should look wide and not stretched. I'm not familiar with how macs decode but it sounds like it's changing the aspect. I've tried many different methods for encoding and finally settled on this for its ease of use and quality. XviD is nice too but there is no way to batch both passes all at once.
I'm still not quite happy with the quality on these, but they look decent enough for me. I still see artifacts on the background sometimes and I think it's just because of the bitrate being too low. But it's a higher resolution than most movies are encoded in so it needs a much higher bitrate.

Ever since my cable tv got cancelled I've been in Jon & Kate withdrawal, TY so much Nelwyn I've been looking everywhere for these!!

I don't know, but the search is weird on this site compared to Mininova. It doesn't find certain things that I search sometimes without going to the category or typing something else.
Ahh I see if I search: Jon "&" Kate plus 8 instead of Jon "and" Kate plus 8 all your torrents show up. Still weird that "and" shows most torrents but 2... Mininova is exactly the same too, I like mininova better but came here to DL torrents because it looked like you didn't upload much to mininova untill I clicked on your name...
Ah, I think I've figured it out. Is that a High Complexity h264 profile? That's probably what's choking the aTV

Yes I use High profile, not main or baseline.
